Here is the schedule for the future Cleanup Rides.
We will be doing the scavenger hunt again at each event. Everyone seemed to enjoy it last time.

The Green Team
Fire Danger

The area has returned to dry conditions. Fire danger is high. Any camp fires need to be small and in a container. Please use care with camp fires and cigarettes.
Thefts

Thefts to camps have returned in the last few weeks. Numerous camps have had thefts and burglaries. Members need to keep an eye out on for suspicious activity. If something is seen call the gate. Please advise your neighbors and friends to keep an eye out.

DUE TO RECENT EMERGENCIES AND ACCIDENTS WE HAVE BEEN HAVING. EVERYONE NEEDS TO UPDATE THEIR CAMP NUMBER AND LOCATION TO THE BEST OF THEIR KNOWLEDGE. ALL CAMPS MUST HAVE VISIBLE SIGNS WITH NAME, CAMP NUMBER AND PHONE NUMBER. WE CAN'T GET HELP TO YOU IF WE CAN'T FIND YOU.

GUEST SIGN & OUT INFORMATION
Owner & guest must sign out together to get the deposit back. If a guest leaves ahead of the owner they need to sign out and when the owner signs out the deposit will be returned to owner. If owner leaves ahead of guest no deposit will be returned (owner is to be with guest at all times). This applies to special exceptions also.

Bird Houses

You may notice some buildings being put up in the woods. These are bird houses for our feathered friends. Please respect the bird's homes.
Membership & Guest

At the Feb. 19th Board Meeting issues over membership fees and guest rules were discussed and voted on. Several issues have brought these matters to the forefront, such as insurance cost, Everglades Headwater project, legal fees, issues with guest, and security to name a few.
Effective March 1st 2011-RRPOA membership increases by $25.00 per year.
Each memerbership is $145
Guest passes increase by $25.00 per year
Each guest pass is $135.00 per year
Also the guest rules remain the same, a member can have 2 guest passes. Guest pass is one person and 1 OHV, or a married husband and wife and any children under 16, 1 ATV extra OHV's $20 each.
Each guest will get an arm band, the guest will pay a $20.00 deposit, (Cash only. No Credit or Debit cards.) for the arm band. When the guest signs out and has gate staff remove the arm band they will get the $20.00 deposit back.
REWARD

The RRPOA voted in the meeting of January 15, 2011 to institute a reward program. The program would cover
$3000 REWARD for information resulting in arrest and conviction for cutting perimeter fenceline on RRPOA property in particular the back section of hogwire fence bordering the SFWMD property.
$2000 REWARD for information resulting in arrest and conviction of theft of property inside the RRPOA property.

Hunting season is here make sure you are safe! Everyone must have orange vest and cap on.
All vehicles must have an orange flag.
Hunting dates are posted on FWC web site.
RRPOA ARCHERY RANGE NOW OPEN

Archery Range Rules
1. Full body harness must be warn at all time when on platform
2. Two shooters at one time on platform
3. Youth shooters 12yrs old must be in present of and adult at all times
4. Youth shooters 11yrs old and under must be with Range supervisor of range or E-Board Member
5. Platform shooters may shoot 30yd and 40yd target plus 3D targets
6. Every person on platform must be in full body harness and attached to anchor rope
7. Shoot when line is GREEN only
TARGET LINE:
1. Two shooters per target
2. NO CROSS SHOOTING TARGETS
3. When line is RED there is NO SHOOTING
4. When line is GREEN you can shoot
5. No person in front of poles when line is GREEN
6. Range is open to all RRPOA and thier guest
7. No guest at 50/50 shoots
ARCHERY RANGE HOURS; Daylight hours only WAIVERS;Must be signed by all shooters
DEPOSIT; There is a $20.00 deposit on key for platform gate to shoot.
HARNESS: One will be provided at same time if you don't have one there is a limited supply so bring your owen.
RANGE 50/50 SHOOTS We will have a shoot once a month on the third Saturday at 1:00 after E Board Meetings. DATES: 4-17 5-15 6-19 7-17 8-21 No shoots durning Archery season 11-20 12-18 We will have special shoot Thru out the year to be announce as soon as possible
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED AT THE ARCHERY RANGE
